Next year is gonna be an exciting year for our family because my mom invited us to visit her working country in Switzerland. This is actually our first time to travel abroad that’s why we are all excited for this holiday. It is the great time for us to spend more time for our family bonding together away from the everyday hustle and bustle of our busy lives.
Did you know that there are many different benefits when you take a little break and spend some holiday together with your family? It is important for everyone’s mental health to get out of a routine and spend some time in the moment. A vacation can reduce stress and anxiety especially in relationships between family members.
Many married couples and children can work through problems and rebuild relationships if they spend enough time together. If you were able to plan your travel, a trip to the beach or a visit to the most visited tourist destinations may be just what a family needs. You can check out more of detailed information about travel and vacation in the infographics below.
Planning a vacation is indeed an exciting thing that makes us have something to look forward to. It‘s a chance for us to take off from work and go out to play, learn, and explore. Vacations are a great way to increase the quality of our time spent with family, friends and loved ones. A good trip many only last a week, but the personal benefits and the memories will certainly last forever.

One of my local dream travel destination is to visit Boracay. I have never been to that island before. My sister is just too lucky now that she and her friend are having a Boracay Island holiday for the first time. It’s just too bad that I can’t go with them since their holiday is just sponsored by my sister’s boss at work.
My sister is asking me what would be the best thing to do while they are there in Boracay. I told her to stay on the white beach and go on an island hopping to see and experience the various thrills and adventures.
They can ride on an ATV or the all terrain vehicle that can be rented from various ATV rental shots since these ATV’s are automatic. It’s parts and its Polaris Accessories has brakes and accelerators which is designed for safe use on rough roads.
It is really a fun and adventure experience to explore Boracay’s attractions where we can also rent out motorcycles or charter tricycles for cheap Boracay adventure tours. I hope I could also try riding on these ATV’s soon.

Whoa! I can’t believe I wasn’t able to update this blog of mine for almost a week! I would like to say sorry to my dear friends, readers and followers since I am very much busy offline because of our vacation grande together with my mom. Were both adventurous and we always love to go out shopping, dining, and traveling together.

One of our recent trip happened last Saturday when we were able to witnessed one of the most colorful and indigenous festival in the Philippines called as the Kaamulan Festival. It is an annual festival which is usually held at my hometown in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Kaamulan is actually derived from our native Binukid word from the root word “amul” which means a “social gathering.” This gathering for ethnic Bukidnon people may mean a datuship ritual, a wedding ceremony, a harvest thanksgiving, or a peace pact. It showcases dances, chants, ancient rituals, and indigenous sports performed by tribal folks who gather with town dwellers to celebrate unity.

It is considered as one of the remaining indigenous festivals in the Philippines because it commemorates the deep tradition and rituals of ethnic groups that has long inhabited our province of Bukidnon.

Woot! I already had some sleepless nights here because of too much excitement for my mom’s holiday. She will be here a few hours from now and were all excited to meet her at the airport. Mom’s got a lot of presents for us and also for our relatives and her friends. I have a long list of my “pasalubong” but sad to say not all of it was not included because her luggage was already full. She even had an excess luggage’s and she’s gonna pay for it. I think the minimum kilos for international passenger is 30 kilos. Her luggage was more than 40 kilos. Whoa! And since some of the things were left, she decided to send it through balikbayan boxes.
I actually requested her to buy some souvenir gifts and items from Switzerland including those yummy Swiss chocolates because I want to launch my very own blog give away soon. And since she wasn’t able to bring it this time, Ill just have to wait for those balikbayan boxes to arrive before I can finally have my own give away. I really wanted to have my blog give away and I want an imported prizes at stake. I wish I could just keep all those chocolates and other things out from my mom’s presents but I think I will not able to do it. I have a baby dragon here who loves to eat chocolate… and this mama dragon is also a certified chocoholic. nyahahah!

We just had our conversation with my mom in Facebook as she excitedly posted her status message telling everyone that a few days from now she will be here in the Philippines. Woohoo! of course all of us here are so excited to see her specially me and my family. Were gonna be spending our time together since we can only get the chance to be with her once a year. She usually spend her 3 to 4 weeks holiday here in the Philippines that’s why we treasure every moment while she’s here with us.
We have a lot of activities planned for my mom’s holiday this year. One of them is we are going to visit our hometown and witness the street dancing competition from a festival that showcases the culture and tradition of our ancient roots. Oh! I miss this one and I’m sure its gonna be so exciting! We will also visit some tourist spots and beautiful scenery from our native place. There’s no place like home indeed. My mom and I would love to reminisce those unforgettable memories we had from our childhood and its really such a good thing to remember those good old days. Were all excited, thrilled and happy and we just can’t wait for my mom’s holiday next week!
