The Great Solution for Our Dark Video Chat Problem

It’s been awhile that I haven’t got the time to chat with  my relatives and friends who are working abroad. It is because of our time difference since they usually get the chance to go online during dawn time here in the Philippines. So we decided to set up a specific time where both of us are free so we could have some time to chat.

Thankfully, I was able to chat with them a few days ago. I was surprised when I found out that Skype is now available in Facebook. This new chat related features makes it easier for us in conversing with our friends and family. They also have a multi-person chat feature that allows us to select certain friends and invite them to a group chat. Wow! isn’t that amazing?

We are actually enjoying these new video chat calling features from Skype and Facebook. We used a good webcam with high megapixels but we need a good lighting in it. I’m using my laptop here in my bedroom and our light is quite dim so when I tried using the webcam, my face is not that clear and its really dark.

So what I did is I placed a lamp with brighter light bulbs on the side of my laptop.It was an immediate solution for my dim light problem but I was thinking if I’ll be going to another place and find some time to chat with family, do I have to bring a lamp with me?

Ive heard about the Skype Light which is an original video chat light that brings solution in order for us to look better while we have our video chats. I think this is such an awesome and great idea for all our dark video chat problem. What do you think my friends?

A Great Communication Tool in the World of Gaming

My hubby is such an avid multi player video gamer, I know he is already familiar with ventrilo on MMORPG games. And if you guys have not heard of it, you are actually missing out its powerful technology,why? because it lets you concentrate on your game while maintaining that instant and hands free communication between the players in your guild.

Using ventrilo increases the competitiveness of video gaming by allowing your group to hear everything that is happening. It is customizable and very easy to learn to use even guild members who are not technically savvy can easily use it. It is also very easy to use so players can learn to communicate even if they are not highly skilled at the game.

Though I’m not a gaming fanatic but Ive seen and noticed that its becoming a common add-on in many internet chat rooms and the user can either use text or voice communication based on their personal preference. It’s a good thing to know that since ventrilo was developed, the world of gaming and chatting has never be the same. It has definitely changed the multiple player video game industry and its beginning to grow in popularity in other areas as well.

An Important Device for Continuous Communication

The place were currently living with doesn’t get much signal specially when it comes to 3G and broadband wireless internet connectivity. Aside from that, we are also experiencing different signal problems in using our mobile phone. There is no guarantee that we can have a  full  strength of signal even if we have the latest phone. It happened to us several times that we get stuck in a place where it is quite hard to find a strong signal.

I myself is excessively using mobile phone that’s why its a must for me to have a wilson cellular booster so I don’t have to look for a proper spot or raise my arms and stay still for a certain period of time just to make a call or send a message.Cell phone has indeed become our inseparable part and when it doesn’t work, it is a serious problem for many of us. So in order to ensure a proper signal delivery, we must use cell boosters for continuous signal and communication.

Stay Connected

With the internet, there are so many great ways to stay connected when we can’t be together in person… email, Facebook, Twitter, Skype,… You name it, we’re on it! When you have a tech savvy family, it’s easy to keep in touch by sharing pictures, status updates, and having a live conversations across the country via web cam. We don’t live real close to our family and we often feel out of the loop on important news in the family. 
Thanks to technology, we can stay connected. Through chat programs such as Messenger-Nicks.de and Yahoo Messenger, we can also have face to face conversations until the next time we are together. Although we try to get together whenever possible, technology enables us to be an active part of each other’s lives because it helps in reinforcing the bonds we share.

Why We Use Deep Freeze instead of Anti-Virus

We used an anti virus software before like AVG and ESET NOD32 for our i-cafe pc’s but we are still having some problems on the viruses that keeps on ruining our pc’s. Even if we always update the anti virus but still viruses gets in and my hubby feels so sick and tired on it where he keeps on reformatting and installing the programs all over again.

A friend told us and recommend that we try to use Deep Freeze because it protects against all kind of malwares, unauthorized installations, viruses, spyware, and most of all, the trojan horse virus. This is just the right application we need because some of our customers are installing software’s and programs while others just simply plug their usb’s without our knowledge. There was one time when a customer wants to print out her documents from her usb and even if I already scanned her usb,  when I opened the file, the virus is still there and the worst thing it immediately spread out on our servers pc. All our saved files were infected and I can’t open all the programs.
That’s why we decided to use Deep Freeze instead of using anti virus. So far we are satisfied with its performance. When our system becomes unstable for any reason, like it has a virus or perhaps a driver misconfiguration, we just simply reboot the pc and within seconds, Deep Freeze will restore the system to the state it was in when last frozen. So it works like magic where everything that had been done since then becomes undone and you are back up and running in no time. Have about you my friends? Have you tried using Deep Freeze?
