Lately, Ive been thinking about purchasing a life insurance. I was briefly explained by an insurance agent and shared to me the benefits that I could get. One of them is the financial protection and the death benefits that can help to make life worth living by providing my loved ones with options that can only be made possible if we have the financial means.
It could help in paying our debts and secure our future. It imparts a sense of peace knowing that my loved ones will be financially taken care of. So,while we are still young, purchasing a Wholesale Insurance will definitely secure our family’s future.

Here I am again having this weird and opposite sleeping routine. I don’t why but it seems like my habit already where I used to sleep a little or I just take a nap at around 8 pm and I usually wake up at 12 midnight or 1 am. That’s the time I go online and do my blogging stuffs. I felt so alone since most of my blogging friends are sleeping tightly.
Aside from blogging, I don’t have any other work at night. Although I prefer dawn time as my blogging time because I can concentrate well but if I always do it regularly, its not quite easy to adjust. It’s like a jet lag where rapid travel between time zones which means that I am awake when everybody else is asleep. It’s not quite normal where I am awake at 12 midnight and I’ll fall back to sleep at 6 am and then I wake up at 1 or 2pm. Aside from having my late breakfast and lunch, I feel my body that’s so tired, weak and heavy. I just don’t like working or doing something at all because I still want to sleep since I did not get enough time to sleep during the night. That’s what I had observed right now since its been 2 weeks that I am experiencing this opposite sleeping routine and it seems like I am already having an insomnia.
I hope I can find a good way to get my sleep back to normal to make sure that I wake up quite early at the same time every morning. Perhaps an alarm clock could help me or better yet the best insomnia treatment will help me fall asleep naturally at the right time.

My grandmother was the one who raised me and took care of me because my mom left me to work abroad. When my grandma died last 2000, I started to live my life independently. I was 3rd year high school at that time. Life was so hard for me even if my mom was there to support me financially but its so hard being alone. But I have to stand up and continue my studies so I can finish my high school and pursue my degree in college. And because of that, I learn how to manage my money to budget everything. I was never an over spender where I just buy anything that I want. I am even ashamed to ask money from my mom. I always think that the money she sent to me was out from her sweat and hard work .
After I graduated in college, I got married and decided to start a business. With the help of my mom, I had able to start up an internet cafe business. Me and my hubby are the one who manage it and until today, this is still our primary source of income. My hubby also accepts computer repair, reformat and maintenance which is also a great help for our needs. While I also sell some of our stuffs in ebay, and of course I also earn money out from my blogging career and also from other money earning sites.
My in laws has a curtain making business for several years now and I am thankful for my hubby since he also got the skills and talents in sewing huge curtains for hotels and rich people here in our place. He helped his father and he also receives some moolah out from his work. The photo below with my daughter was the hard earned money from my hubby’s curtain sewing job.
As the mom, I am always in charge of all the expenses, the marketing, the budgeting and everything. It’s not actually tough job for me since I already know how to manage it because of my experience being an independent woman at a young age.

What we know is, The aswang or manananggal is a vampire from the Filipino lore. It is just a head with no body and organs trailing behind. It also has bat-like wings, giving it the ability to fly. By day this vampire is either a man or woman who is usually a repectible member in the community or even a close family member. By night they fly around with small birds, which help the aswang / manananggal locate prey. They feed on human flesh, organs, blood, and even mucus. Their favorite is a fetus or newborn. They are equipped with a long tongue ideal for sucking fetuses out of the womb. If you are pregnant and want to protect yourself, the best way is to wear a necklace made out of bullets and by smearing coal dust on your stomach.

Now, here’s my true to life story that I could not forget when I was 7 months pregnant. As you can see from the photo above, we used to live in that house where we rented it for a few months. It’s near the hillside and it is surrounded with fruit trees and plants. It’s not quite from the city but its a nook place where only trisikad or taxi can enter.
Since I was pregnant at that time, I don’t usually go out and I just prefer to stay at home. One of my favorite things to do is washing our clothes using my hands and I love doing it during night time. I usually hang our clothes outside and leave it overnight. There were several times when I heard an “Ek-Ek” sound outside. They were like 2 or 3 of them who seemed like flying around surrounding our house. There was also a time when me and my hubby are sleeping and I heard like someone who is walking around our rooftop and is trying to pull out our roof. I immediately awaken my hubby and told him if he hears something on the roof but he said he doesn’t heard any.
I actually don’t believe in Aswang or Manananggal but at that time, I suddenly remember that maybe they are really true. I haven’t seen them but I heard that “Ek-Ek” sound just like what we usually saw on the movies about this creatures. They said that aswang loves a pregnant woman because they want the fetus and suck it out from the stomach. They also love the smell and scent of the pregnant woman that’s why they keep coming back sniffing my clothes.
One day, my mother-in-law told me if I just leave my clothes hanging overnight outside and I said yes and she said that I don’t do it again because there are really Aswang here in our place. She told me about the story of her neighbor and friend where she also has experienced being visited by Aswang. She also live just a few walks away from the house that we used to live before.
My mother-in-law is the Pastor of our church and she advised me to open the Bible and read the whole Chapter of Psalms 91 where it talks about how God will protect me from harm and He will command his angels to guard me anytime. She also told me to put the Bible in our window leaving the Bible open on that page and chapter of Psalms 91. I followed what she told me and from that night, I never heard any “Ek-Ek” sound again. That clearly shows how powerful the Word of God is.

We often evaluate our income to see if it is being wasted or put to good use. We should do the same with our time. Some spend some of their time drinking coffee, playing with children, watching TV, listening to music, reading books, studying God’s word, praying, or fellowshipping with other Christians.
The point is that we all have a time that is spent doing something other than providing the absolute necessities of life. And, not to say that in all circumstances life is the best, we always make decisions regarding the spending of time. We may use all of our time to make more money than is absolutely needed to live and therefore spend our discretionary time seeking worldly wealth, but the fact remains that we had the time. We make choices in life as to how much time to spend in accumulating wealth and how much time to spend with God. We must balance time and wealth with all of our responsibilities. One of our responsibilities is to spend time with God.
How much time do you spend with God during an average week? If you spend all your time without including time with God, are you seeking first the kingdom of heaven? Jesus teaches that we cannot serve God and the world – we must serve one or the other. In Matthew 6:24, 33 Jesus says: “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will he loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. … But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” And for those who seek the kingdom of God first He says: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (Matt. 6:34)
I am not advocating that all discretionary time should be spent in a formal passion with God. It is God who has given us all things to enjoy (I Tim. 6:17). But to be extreme and spend little or no time with God is to neglect our responsibilities toward God. With this in mind, what statements are you making by the way you spend your time – is God important? If you answered yes, your life must be rich in the pleasures of heaven – you have set your mind on things above, not on the earth (Col. 3:2).
