The Most Significant Bloggable Event that Happened to Me

December 28th, 2010 by Kayce

Sir Winston of Batang Yagit is hosting a generous Christmas Giveaway which is sponsored by his best bud Jehzreel Laurente of Jehzlau Concepts. I would like to join his amazing contest this very last minute of his give away by answering this question “What is the most significant bloggable event that happened to you in 2010?”

Before I discovered the world of blogging back in 2009, Ive been selling items in Ebay and I’m so thankful to God because I am earning money out from my old, used and even junk items like my shoes, bags, jeans, accessories and even my personal gadgets like mobile phones, digicam, mp4 and many others.
I am also thankful to God that I do have a 100% positive feedbacks from my buyers. So that means that people really do trust me. There are many scammers online but I feel so blessed that people are putting their trust on me based on my feedback reputation. I had actually made a lot of money out of it that’s why I consider selling items in Ebay as my primary money maker online.

A fellow Ebay seller introduced me about some other ways on how to earn money online. One of them is through blogging.  I started blogging about my life experiences as well as my journey online that’s why this blog of mine was born. This is my very first blog. It serves as my online diary as I also begin to discover many great opportunities online and at the same time I learn many helpful things that benefits me a lot.

Ive been addicted in joining several contests and give aways online both from blog and from Facebook contests. Ive won several paypal cash ranging from $5 to $100,some beauty loots and products, clothing, shoes, accessories and even  some imported food goodies. I treasure every little things that I won out from the online contests that Ive joined and  I also love sharing my blessings to others who needs it the most. One of them is the $500 paypal cash that I received from joining a blog contest.

I just can’t express my happiness when I saw the admin’s post from YouSayToo where they will be sponsoring our church in buying some additional musical instruments. I joined their blog contest where I have to write a blog  about what will be my $1000 dream gift. My blog entry was to help our church in buying some musical instruments.

I’m so thankful to God because even though I did not win the 1st prize, God is so Good because He touched the heart of the admin of the site where they gave a special donation worth $500 for our church. You know I am not only striving hard in joining contests  online just to win so I could buy something that  I want. I think of others first. Specially those who are deserving to help with.

One of the most significant bloggable event that happened from my journey online was when I started earning money from my blog just this year. I owe it a lot from my blogger friends who have helped me how to earn money from paid opportunities where I have to review and promote products from advertisers. Although I’m not earning huge bucks every month since I’m just starting to earn money from blogging, but I am happy to share my blessings to my family and to our fellow church members.

giving some presents and gifts

I actually saved my blogging earnings worth $200 because I had been planning all these things so that my fellow church members will all be happy. Last month we had a feeding for kids from our neighborhood. We cooked some nutritious food and bought some art and drawing materials for their Bible study lessons. A simple salo-salo was also done after our Church Sunday service and just recently, we bought some presents as a surprise gifts for them during our Christmas Party.

It was made possible out from my hard work of earning money from blogging. I thanked the Lord for all the good things He has done. This year was indeed a fruitful year for me in terms of blogging and in joining contests online. I want to be a blessing so I can be a blessing to others that’s why  I always thanked God for the all the good things He has done in my life.

Humor Me Makoy Contest

April 6th, 2010 by Kayce

I am an avid follower and reader of Makoy’s Blog because I really enjoyed his blog where he shares his personal life experiences with an added humor in it. His Not So Lonely Birthday really amused me because even though he is all alone celebrating his birthday in his place in Singapore, he still enjoyed his birthday with his little “handa”, which is “The Patola with miswa and Chicken Balls.” And his cake, since he cannot afford to buy a Black Forest cake because it costs $10, he just bought a chocolate muffin that only costs 80 cents…isn’t that cute? He also treated himself with some Pinoy Junkfoods. Cool! I would also try that one when my birthday comes. It’s simple yet satisfying, right?

Now speaking about my birthday, I also have my own “Not so Lonely Birthday” which is my entry for Humor Me Makoy Contest and this birthday of mine happened a year ago where I was really amused on my daughter’s funny reaction about the food that we had prepared for my birthday.

We cooked a native chicken adobo and it takes time to cook it since its a native “bisayang manok” and it has a hard meat in it but my daughter is just hungry. at that time.  She even sat at our dining table and she can’t wait for the viand to cook so she just ate the rice first. Just look at her reaction with her eyebrows! She wanted to say, “What’s this? Only rice and no viand? “…

This time the native chicken adobo has been cooked already together with our other viand which is the “tuyo” or the dried fish. My daughter was actually glad when she saw the viand but she was just looked surprised on the flash of the camera when she saw it that’s why her reaction was a bit shocked who  wants to say, ” Hey Mom! Stop taking pics of mine, I’m eating!” lol…

After she sat down at our dining table and ate, she wanted to change her clothes because she was so dirty but she did not leave the native chicken’s drumstick on her hand even if I already changed her clothes. She still wants to eat it and since its a native one, it took her time to eat it because of its hard meat.

It was a simple birthday of mine with simple foods in it but I really enjoyed it together with my hubby and  my daughter’s funny moves and reactions.

Mommy Moments – It’s a Hotta Hotta Summer!

March 26th, 2010 by Kayce

mommy moments

It’s summer time here! Yes We could really feel the hot and warm feeling! If only we could go the beach every day to smell the breeze of the wind and spend some time together with our family. What’s our plans this summer? Well of course we will go outside more often since my Mom will be coming home this May to spend time with us and she will rent a house for 1 month which is located right beside the beach! Isn’t that a perfect summer?

That’s my mom with my daughter when she had her holiday last year

Tip: It’s really nice to swim in the beach in the morning around 6 to 8 am

My daughter doesn’t know how to swim yet so its a good thing she had her baby float

She loves the waves and the sand!

My daughter also loves swimming on her cutie inflatable pool

Well,  in my case I actually don’t like swimming at the beach because I don’t want to get dark. LOL! What I usually do when I am in the beach is I am just having some fun walking and writing something in the sand.

What I also love when I am in the beach? Taking some Pictures! And of course I am the model…. hahaha!

Jump Up! I love this one… A nice shot of me and my friend… Beach with a very nice view is just amazing!

Since I don’t like swimming at the beach during daytime, I prefer night swimming! It feels refreshing and you could really have a good night sleep in it.
