Want to Learn How to Speak Swiss German Language

October 29th, 2010 by Kayce

My mom actually knows how to speak several languages like Swiss German, French, Italian and Spanish. She went to a language school just to study Swiss German language when she worked in Switzerland. How I wish I could be like her who knows how to speak and even write multilingual languages. I have a half sister and brother who cannot speak and understand English well that’s why when I am trying to talk to them, I always call my mom to let her translate what I am trying to say to them so my mom decided to help me to learn how to speak Swiss German language using an audio language program. It is a unique audio method that allows the listener to learn pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar without repetitive rote learning, in a similar way to how we acquired our native language components.
I actually know how to speak a little from their basic words but I am eager to learn how to speak their language so I can communicate well from my siblings and hopefully soon when we were going to have a holiday in their country, it would be easier for me to understand their language too.

A Helpful Visayan-English Dictionary Online

July 18th, 2010 by Kayce

I admit I am not good in writing articles and blog posts and there are times that I find it hard to translate a certain Visayan word to English.  Good thing  I had able to find Binisaya.com which is a Visayan-English Dictionary website. It really helps me a lot specially when there is a deeply rooted Visayan word and I don’t know what is that word in English and even in vice versa where I also want to know what’s that certain English word in Visayan.

Binisaya or Visayan is the term we use for our language. It is spoken by about 20 million people in the islands of the Visayas and Mindanao and it is mostly referred to as Cebuano. So to all my fellow blogger friends here who are BISDAK (Bisayang Dako), if you are also looking for a Visayan-English Dictionary Online, go check out Binisaya.com Now!
