Celebrating Thanksgiving Day

November 22nd, 2012 by Kayce

To all my family, friends and relatives in the US, Canada and several other countries, I would like to greet you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY! I am extending my greetings to all of you out there who are celebrating Thanksgiving Day today. It is indeed a joyous family festival as people express their gratitude to God for His blessings and give thanks to their dear ones for the love and support. We all know that feasting with the family is an integral and most delightful part in celebrating Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Day is celebrated with a lot of merry making specially in America. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in the month of November every year and it is a time of festivity, family meals and reunions in America. Those carved huge turkeys and pumpkin pie are the traditional dishes adorning the dinner tables in almost every house. Wow! how I wish I could grab a taste of these legendary thanksgiving foods. ^_^

Celebrating Birthday with Our Family

A week ago, we celebrate the 63rd birthday of my father in law. We ate lunch outside at an eat all you can restaurant. Our family had a great time as we spent our family bonding together. June has lots of birthdays to celebrate with since it was my mom’s birthday and my birthday month as well. We just hope that soon all of us could celebrate our birthdays together. Celebrating another year of God’s extension of our life is worthy to be thankful with as we celebrate the joy of life together with our dear family.

Bonding With Your Family

May 7th, 2012 by Kayce

Spending time together with your family allows you and your children to get to know each other more intimately. It is important because it creates a bond between the family members. Bonding with your family means happier and healthier children and parents. So, in order to strengthen and established the bond with your family, it is a great idea to involved in a new hobby that the whole family can participate in.

Think of a hobby that your whole family would enjoy and look forward to such as playing a japanese puzzle box or puzzle building. Just give it some thought and see what new hobbies that you can come up with for your family. You can also try scheduling events or activities each week that the entire family can do and enjoy together. If you don’t regularly eat together as a family now, then try making it as a family habit too.

Having a Pool at Home

January 25th, 2012 by Kayce

Having a pool, spa or hot tub at home is a tremendous responsibility when it comes to safety specially to our kids.Swimming pools may feel great to us adults, but for our kids it can be dangerous and it can even drown them so having a fence is the best safety investment you can make and will help prevent pool related drownings.

You can buy other devices such as pool covers, pool pumps and alarms for the best measure of protection. Now you can enjoy swimming with your kids without worrying much about their safety.

Thankful for The Overwhelming Support

January 18th, 2012 by Kayce

A few days after the tragedy hit our city where my family and I was also affected from the flash flood which was caused by Typhoon Sendong, I was so overwhelmed of the love and support of my family, relatives and friends who helped me by sending some donations in cash and in kind such as clothes, bedding, foods, medicines etc.

I was even more thankful for the concern of my blogging friends online where many of them showed their support by giving anything that could help me and my family during those times that we are in need of our basic needs. I’d like to thank all of you my dear friends in blogging specially Mommy Ruby, Ate Grace, Ate Vernz, Mommy Chris, Mommy Eleanor, Sir Rob from UAE. I miss you and your blog Sir specially on your medical mission trips while wearing your scrubs:)
