Thankful for the Published Article of My Entry

March 11th, 2011 by Kayce

Last December of 2010, I joined Meniscus Magazine’s “A Handbag With a Heart” Giveaway as they asked their readers to share their stories of how they gave back this past holiday season. I shared my story from our church who did an outreach feeding program for kids who are living in remote areas near our place.

Today, I received an email from Meniscus Magazine that my entry and one of the photos was used for their recently published article. Even though I am not chosen as one of the three winners, I am happy to know that my entry was published on their website and magazine as well.

What’s Keeping Me Busy?

December 13th, 2010 by Kayce

It’s been a hurried busy days for me specially now that we are going to celebrate our church Thanksgiving and Christmas Party. I am the Treasurer who’s also in charge for  the marketing, budgeting and expenses and at the same time I am also  the organizer of the program. Aside from that, we are also busy practicing for our Praise and Worship songs. As the worship leader of our church, it is my responsibility to choose the songs that were gonna have to sing for the Church service. We are also busy practicing for some special numbers and presentations for our party.

Aside from my busy world offline, I am also busy online. What’s keeping me busy? Well, it is not actually from my paid opps in blogging since I don’t have  many paid opps this time but I’m busy in joining several contests and give aways from blogs, websites and specially in Facebook. There are a lot of contests going on this time. Some of them has an easy mechanics that’s why I did not hesitate to join and try my luck. If I will win on those cool contests Ive joined, it would be a great Christmas gift for me. Teehee! so wish my luck guys! :)

Our Church Activities

November 28th, 2010 by Kayce

We do have lots of activities from our church. One of them is we have a family day every last week of the month. We bring our own foods and we gather them together so all of us could share each other. Its really such a great family bonding!

We  have our weekly Bible study and feeding for kids

And we also have Bible study and music practice for our young people since most of them loves to play the music instruments and wants to become a part of our music team.

We thanked God for the strength, the wisdom and the favor that He had given us so we could still continue to do His works by spreading His words and helping these people to have a closer relationship with Him. All the Glory and Honor in Christ Jesus!

Biblical Baby Names

November 23rd, 2010 by Kayce

My childhood friend just recently gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl and I was amazed how unique her baby’s name is. She named it “Trinity Eyes”, I thought she was just describing her baby’s eyes but that was indeed her real name. She actually researched on that name because she wanted it to be unique but very Christian so she comes up with the name “Trinity Eyes”. Trinity means its a combination of the three holy persona, God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit so “Trinity Eyes” simply means “GOD SEES”.  Isn’t that a very unique name?

Her baby’s name reminds me of my daughter’s name too since it is also relevant to a Christian names because it is a Biblical name. I named her “Sydelle Clea Alysha” which means ” A Princess who sings praises to the God of our Salvation”. I also researched on it through the internet because I also like Biblical names.
If you are looking for unusual and unique baby names,  you can visit this Unusual Baby Names site which has a rare Bible baby names and  not found elsewhere.  If you still can’t decide, you can  head over to the Top Baby Names section to see the most popular baby names in various countries.

Christmas Gift Ideas for Children

November 23rd, 2010 by Kayce

Christmas is a fun time of the year and it’s one of the most anticipated season specially for children because they are excited to receive special gifts from their parents. Ive been thinking lately what’s gonna be the best ideal Christmas gift for kids. Aside from my daughter and godchildren, we’ve been planning to give some gifts for children from our church. They are quite many of them so I’m thinking what’s the best gift suitable for them.

I already made a list on some Christmas gift ideas for them. Since they belong in different age groups,a soft and stuffed toys, chocolates, candies of variety would be great for little kids. For Teens and Pre-Teens, bath sets, school supplies, fancy jewelries, hankies, and some accessories would be a great idea. I just need to head on over to the toy department so I can get some more Christmas gift ideas because I know there’s still lots of stuffs there which could be a great and ideal gifts for the children of our church. This is actually our surprise for them and I’m sure they’re gonna be happy when they receive it.
