Then Sings My Soul Saturday – Healer

July 31st, 2010 by Kayce

This song lifts me up and strengthens me this time because my daughter is sick. I believe that He is Our Great Healer and the Great Doctor of All. Nothing is too difficult for Him and everything is Possible in the Name of Jesus. I declare in Jesus Name because I believe that By His stripes my daughter will be healed.

Hillsong – Healer

Verse:

You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease

Pre-Chorus:

I trust in You
I trust in You

I believe You’re my Healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe You’re my Portion
I believe You’re more than enough for me
Jesus You’re all I need

[Repeat Verse]

[Repeat Pre-Chorus}

[Chorus]

Bridge:

Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands

Then Sings My Soul Saturday – You Are Not Forgotten

July 17th, 2010 by Kayce

It’s time to share our best loved inspiring songs for the Lord once again and I would like to share to you this amazing song that simply reminds that the Lord never forgets us, He is our Best Friend and He is always there when we need His help.

Enjoy and Have a Blessed Weekend!

You Are Not Forgotten
By Israel & The New Breed (feat. Jonny Lang)

People walking by very seldom they say hi
They don’t know how wonderful you are
If they only knew all the things you’ve been through
If only they can see your heart

** I hear you crying for help
Please don’t blame yourself
You are not forgotten, you are not forgotten

When it’s time to go to sleep
And you try your best to keep yourself from falling apart
There’s no need to fear because I’m already here
And I’m the one who see’s your heart **

Bridge
You are not just a face in the crowd
You are not a forgotten child
Let me whisper in the light
I love you, oh I love you

You can hold your head up high cause I’ll make everything alright
I’m committed to you smiling again yeah
And eventually you see people similarities
Everyone just needs a friend
And when they’re crying for help
You’ll be able to tell …them
Please tell them for Me
You are not forgotten, You are not forgotten
You are not forgotten, You are not forgotten

You’re my friend
Just in Me
I’m the One I’m the one who sees your heart
you are not forgotten

Not forgotten no no

Just remember you are not forgotten

You are not forgotten

Please Visit our Church Website

July 17th, 2010 by Kayce

Our Youth Pastor had created a site for our church. He created it using Ning Social Network. It is a social platform networking site where you can share your interests and passions online.

I like this site because it is easy to navigate with and if you are a member of a certain group like for example our church, it enables the members to upload and share photos and videos. Automatically it presents the members with the option to embed your Ning Network’s branded photo slideshows or video players anywhere on the Web and link back to your Ning Network.

Please do visit our church, Into the Hands of God Christian Fellowship for the latest photos, videos and church activity and Be Blessed!

Thank You and God Bless You All!

When I Sang in Front of Many People

July 15th, 2010 by Kayce

It’s time to share our Nostalgic moments here in Nostalgia and this time I want to share my experience when I sang in front of many people. Way back in my high school days, I used to be a dancer and choreographer of our modern dance group in school. I was never a singer. Though I know how to sing but I prefer dancing since this is my favorite hobby. But when I got married and became a Christian, I was enticed to develop my talent in singing because I just love to sing all those Christian songs that inspires me a lot. Since then, I used to be the back up singer and eventually became the worship leader or the vocalist of our music team in our church.

We also used to fellowship with other churches where me and my fellow band mates will play and have a presentation number and specially when we do the 30 minutes to 1 hour non-stop praise and worship service. Every time we were invited to perform on stage, I still have that butterflies in my stomach where I also get nervous and has a stage fright specially when there are a lot of people around. That would be my feelings at first, but eventually, I’d be able cope it up and overcome those stage fright and fear after we had done it.

Below is a video of me and our music team performing as we lead the praise and worship service. ( I am the one in white t-shirt and pink pants ) Sorry for the not so clear video and audio. Our camera’s not good in recording video.

The Title of this song is
With All I am from Hillsong

Lyrics:

Into Your hands
I commit again
With all I am, for You, Lord
You hold my world
In the palm of Your hand
And I am Yours forever

Jesus I believe in You
Jesus I belong to You
You’re the reason that I live
The reason that I sing
With all I am

I’ll walk with You
Wherever You go
Through tears and joy
I’ll trust in You
And I will live
In all of Your ways
And Your promises, forever

I will worship
I will worship You

In Raising Our Daughter as a Good Christian Child

July 10th, 2010 by Kayce

My daughter was so blessed since she grow up with a good Christian parents like us. I remember when she was 2 years old, she loves to sing with me while I am singing in front of our church congregation since I am the worship leader of our church. She also enjoyed dancing while all of us are singing praises to God. She even lift up her hands and close her eyes when we sing a worship song. When all of us praying, she also close her eyes and pray. The same thing she also did when we pray before meals and before sleeping.

When I asked her where is Jesus? She will held her head up high and point to the sky and said, “He’s in Heaven” and when she saw a photo or a video of a Cross, she will tell me, “That’s Jesus!”. And when I told her that its Sunday and its time to go to church, she will hurriedly get up and look for her Sunday dress because she is excited to go with us. Isn’t that wonderful to see how she grow up in a Christian way? She doesn’t know anything about speaking bad words since she never hear that from us. I just pity those children who are speaking expletive words which will eventually serves as their expressions when they grow up.

There’s nothing more challenging in life than raising children. This is a day by day, child by child experience, and we are all continually learning. In our home we strive to follow some guidelines, however, we are not perfect parents or perfect people. As with all areas of our life, we ask God for guidance because He is the ultimate resource for our precious little ones.
